Hello! My name is Tiahna Nugent.
My experience at the Laurel College Center (LCC) has been incredibly rewarding. During my time here, I had the opportunity to work closely with the office staff and fellow students, including Deja, Tahrim, and Cynthia. Building those relationships made my experience even more meaningful.

One of my favorite responsibilities was assisting in the Student Game Room. As both a gamer and an aspiring animator with a strong interest in information technology, I truly enjoyed interacting with students and helping create a fun, welcoming environment. This year, we welcomed many students into the Game Room, making it an exciting place to connect and build community.

In addition, SEAL and PGCC office staff ensures that women at the Laurel College Center had sanitary products available. Through this initiative, we stocked all women's restrooms on the third through fifth floors with emergency menstrual products. Our goal was to ensure that women and girls always have access to essential sanitary products when they need them, helping to remove barriers and provide support during unexpected situations.

Those of us who had the opportunity to work or volunteer in the office collaborated with both the office and IT staff to help prepare for and support campus events. These experiences strengthened my teamwork, communication, and organizational skills while allowing me to contribute to the LCC community.

It has been an honor to work alongside the LCC office staff, and I am sincerely grateful to the entire Laurel College Center team for welcoming me, supporting me, and giving me the opportunity to be part of such a positive and caring community.
