Virtual Library

The Laurel College Center has a Virtual Library, a group of computers dedicated for easy access to library resources at PGCC and HCC. Informational literature is available to help with research and other projects.

The Virtual Library also provides a quiet, undisturbed area where students can work and study.

The Virtual Library is located in room 402 on the fourth floor of the Laurel College Center.

Onsite at LCC

The Laurel College center has a Virtual Library, room 402, where students can access the electronic library resources at PGCC and HCC.  Access is also available in the Computer Lab, room 404.

Visit the LCC virtual library or computer lab for:

  • Computers
  • Study space
  • Research information

For HCC Faculty:

HCC Faculty can work with the HCC Library to place course materials on e-reserve or request an information literacy class for their students. Visit the HCC Library website,, and click “Faculty/Staff FAQs” for more information on library services for HCC Faculty.

For PGCC Faculty:

The PGCC Library offers library research instruction face-to-face and via Blackboard. To schedule face-to-face or online instruction sessions:

  • Go to the PGCC Library website, and click “Faculty Resources.”
  • To quickly access the request form, click the “Information Literacy Instruction Request” link located below the picture of the books.
  • Log into mypgcc to access the form.
  • For details on the Information Literacy Program, click the tab at the top of the Faculty Resources page.
