Admissions and Advising

If you are a new student wanting to take credit classes, first choose the college in which you want to enroll: Prince George's Community College (PGCC), or Howard Community College (HCC).

Then complete and submit an application for admission to PGCC or HCC.  Proof of residency is required upon request.  Admissions applications for PGCC and HCC may be obtained at and submitted to the Laurel College Center main administrative office (Room 205) or at the student's home campus.  Applications can also be downloaded from each college's Website and mailed to the appropriate admissions office.  (Different or additional application procedures may be required of some students and completed at the student's home campus).  For PGCC applicants, please be sure to include the $25 application fee.  For HCC applicants, the application fee will be included in your first bill.

If you are a student interested in taking noncredit courses, please refer to the HCC or PGCC (depending on your county of residence) Noncredit Schedule of Classes for noncredit registration information and instructions.  For students whose county of residence is other than Prince George's County or Howard County, please refer to the PGCC noncredit schedule of classes.
