The Laurel College Center (LCC) resulted from a unique joint effort between Prince George's Community College and Howard Community College to make higher education and continuing education more accessible to the residents of Laurel and the surrounding area.  This partnership was established in Fall 2001, and the LCC has been growing ever since!

The LCC is conveniently located at 312 Marshall Avenue, Suite 205 in downtown Laurel, next to the Laurel Shopping Center and close to the Laurel Mall.  See Maps & Directions.  Our three-floor, 28-classroom facility houses 9 computer labs, including 1 A+ computer repair lab and 1 open computer lab, 18 spacious air-conditioned classrooms, and 1 biology lab.  The LCC offers both credit and non-credit classes each semester.  The classes are small, personal, with both day and evening classtimes available.  The Center is open Monday through Friday with a wide range of services available, including:  admissions, placement testing, academic advising, registration, and bill payment.  We are also open on Saturday with limited services available.  Please call ahead for hours and service availability, 1-866-228-6110.

"Get Ahead in Life" is the Laurel College Center’s slogan and the LCC staff is waiting to help you do just that.  Anyone can take classes at LCC, whether you have never taken a college class before or already have a college degree, whether you want to pursue a degree program or just take a course or two for fun, and regardless of where you live.  You can earn an Associate degree in Business Administration, General Studies, Teachers Education, Criminal Justice, and Applied Information Technology by attending classes exclusively at the Laurel College Center.  Non-credit continuing education courses are also offered at the LCC to help you upgrade your job skills in a variety of areas including computers, finance and management, and various health fields.  Other courses are offered simply for your enjoyment.  Click here for more information about the Laurel College Center.
