Degree Programs and Areas of Study
The Laurel College Center offers both credit and non-credit courses for those pursuing a degree or certification, upgrading job skills, or developing a personal interest. Associate of Arts degree
Five Associate of Arts degrees, offered by Prince George’s Community College and Howard Community College, can be completed by taking classes at the LCC: - Applied Information Technology
- Business Administration
- Teachers Education
- Criminal Justice
- General Studies
In addition, credit classes are offered at the LCC that can be applied to other degree programs taken at PGCC or HCC. Job-Related Courses
Noncredit courses are offered to help you upgrade your job skills in a broad variety of areas including computers, technology, finance, and management. Programs are also offered in Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), medical billing, child care, real estate, and appraisal, just to name a few! Personal Interest Courses

Before 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, parking is available only at the Laurel Shopping Center in the yellow outlined parking spaces. After 5:00 p.m. or on Saturday, students may park in the lot on Marshall Avenue directly across from or to the side of the building. Parking is free. [back to top] Entering the Building
Before 5pm, Monday-Friday, students must park in the Laurel Shopping Center in the yellow outlined spaces. From the parking lot, there is a walkway between the Books-A-Million and Sprint stores that leads to t he Laurel College Center building’s 2nd floor entrance. [back to top] Cancellation of Classes
The Laurel College Center reserves the right to cancel sections, to change meeting places, or to make other appropriate changes. Every effort is made to notify students of course cancellations by phone prior to the start of classes. If a class is canceled, all tuition and fees will be automatically refunded unless you select a comparable course to replace the canceled one. Room changes and course cancellations are posted by the door of the classroom in which the course was originally scheduled.
